Our Ancient Lands, as the name suggests is focused on our botanicals that come from our isolated, magical, ancient and one of the most unique regions in the world.
Our Kakadu Plums (terminalia ferdinandiana), and depending on locations also known as gubinge, gabiny, kabiny, mardorr, murunga, bush plum, billygoat plum and salty plum, are hand foraged during the hot and humid tropical conditions between late February until early April, when the plum are fully ripe and start falling from the trees.
The Kakadu plums form the basis our our awards winning, Ancient Lands Kakadu Plum gin.
Made from both traditional and unique Australian botanicals.
Australian Botanicals – Kakadu Plum, Lemon Myrtle, Pepperberry, Anise Myrtle, Local Honey, Wattleseed, Coriander Seed & Ruby Grapefruit
Traditional Botanicals – Juniper, Angelica Root & Orris Root
Aroma – Bright citrus, lavender and musk
Palette – Fleshy orange, dark chocolate and an abundance of juicy lemon with hints of beer. Appealingly textured with a refreshing balance of sweetness and a warming finish.
