Our Ancient Lands, as the name suggests is focused on our botanicals that come from our isolated, magical, ancient and one of the most unique regions in the world.
Our Kakadu Plums (terminalia ferdinandiana), and depending on locations also known as gubinge, gabiny, kabiny, mardorr, murunga, bush plum, billygoat plum and salty plum, are hand foraged during the hot and humid tropical conditions between late February until early April, when the plum are fully ripe and start falling from the trees.
The Kakadu plums form the basis our our Ancient Lands Kakadu Plum gin.

Australian Botanicals – Kakadu Plum, Lemon Myrtle, Pepperberry, Anise Myrtle, Local Honey, Wattleseed, Coriander Seed & Ruby Grapefruit
Traditional Botanicals – Juniper, Angelica Root & Orris Root
Aroma – Juniper forward, with light gooseberry, citrus and a peppery bite.
Palette – The Kakadu plum shines through, as a grassy gooseberry, with a soft musky juniper, light hint of anise and citrus combine to make this a really complex, yet totally approachable gin.
Hard to go past a super cold gin martini.
60ml Ancient Lands Kakadu Plum 2022 Gin
10ml Noilly Prat Dry Vermouth
Stir down gin and Vermouth in mixing glass until diluted and super cold. Pull a Nick & Nora glass out of the freezer and garnish with a grapefruit twist.
